Greetings In Jesus' Name,
I want to share an important update with you regarding an immediate transition that we believe reflects the clear and gracious leading of God.
After a number of occurrences that are only attributable to the workings of God, and with the wisdom and direction of Pastor Garrett, I will be transitioning into a new role serving Valley Pentecostal Church, while Rev. Michael Alexander, Associate Pastor of VPC, will be stepping into the role of Principal at Glendale Christian Academy in addition to his service to the church. This transition will be in place and complete as of tomorrow; Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
What has brought us great peace and confidence in this transition is the unmistakable way the Lord has prepared each of us—separately, yet simultaneously—for this moment. During our recent week of prayer and fasting, God touched my spirit in a significant and personal way, preparing my heart for an unexpected new direction of service and responsibility. During this previous week, the Lord began dealing with Reverend Alexander, placing a distinct burden and calling on his heart for the school. Neither of these moments were prompted by circumstance or planning; they were initiated by God Himself. In the meantime, and without our knowledge or prompting, Pastor received very clear direction from the Lord on this matter.
As we have watched how these pieces have come together with the kind of cohesion and ease that can only be orchestrated by our good God, it has become abundantly clear that this is not coincidence or convenience. This transition stands as clearly the will of God as anything I have ever witnessed in my life. There is unity, peace, and alignment in this decision, and we are confident that the Lord is ordering each step.
I love our families, our faculty, and each student very much, and will be praying every day for continued revival, continued growth, and the benefit of GCA. God has been very good to me and to the school in the time I have been privileged to serve as principal. I will be leaving the day to day work of the school, but I will not be leaving the prayer, care, and love for the students and the school as a whole. They will be in my heart every day.
Rev. Alexander brings extensive experience and anointing to GCA, and I have such confidence in him that I have no doubt that our students, faculty and parents will benefit more than we can imagine from his love for people and walk with God. He will have no bigger supporter than myself, and I am beyond excited to see what God will do with him in this role. We are grateful for your prayers, your trust, and your continued support of Glendale Christian Academy as we move forward together. We believe the church and the school are entering a season of strength, clarity, and growth, and we are excited to see what God will continue to do through faithful obedience.
Thank you for walking with us in this next chapter. Never doubt that God has his hand on GCA, and we look into the future with certainty and confidence in His grace and strength.
In His Service,
Bro. Andrew Jones
